Cookies Policy
Effective as of: August 29, 2026
The short version: Coivre sets no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no analytics cookies, because there is no advertising, tracking or analytics product on this site at all. What is stored is what is needed to keep you signed in and to remember whether you collapsed the sidebar.
1. What we store, in full
- Your session (cookie, set by our sign-in library). This is what keeps you logged in between page loads. It expires, and signing out removes it.
- A sign-in security token (cookie). A short-lived value that proves a sign-in request came from this site and not from somebody else's page. Without it, sign-in cannot be made safe.
- The sidebar state (browser storage, key
coivre:sidebar-collapsed). One character, on your device, remembering whether you collapsed the navigation. It never leaves your browser and we never read it on our side. - A preview-access token (cookie, name
preview-access, preview builds only). Test versions of the site are password-protected; this records that the password was entered. It stores a cryptographic digest, never the password. It does not exist on the live site.
Signing in also sets a handful of short-lived cookies belonging to the sign-in flow itself (the address to return to after Google, and the one-time values that tie your browser to that specific attempt). They are deleted as soon as the sign-in completes and they exist only to make it safe. Beyond those, the list above is everything. If it grows, this page changes on the same day.
2. Why there is no cookie banner
Under the Danish rules on cookies, consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary to deliver the service the user asked for. Everything in the list above is strictly necessary in that sense: without the session you cannot stay signed in, without the security token sign-in cannot be protected, and the sidebar state is a preference you set yourself, stored only on your own device. A banner asking you to consent to things you cannot decline would be theatre.
If that ever changes we will ask first. The day this product loads an analytics or advertising tool, a real consent request appears before it loads, and this page says so.
3. Controlling them
Your browser can block or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in, which is not us being difficult: there is nowhere else to keep it.
